Keap to Stack

Transitioning from Keap to Stack can be smooth and efficient with the right approach. This guide walks you through migrating your contacts, custom fields, automations, landing pages, and other critical assets to ensure you maximize Stack’s capabilities.

  1. Identify Key Assets: List all essential assets in Keap, such as contacts, custom fields, pipelines, automations, and landing pages.
  2. Document Workflows: Note down all crucial automation sequences, campaigns, and workflows.
  3. Evaluate Data Volume: Assess the data volume, including contacts and custom fields, that needs migration.

  2. Prioritize Critical Features: Focus on migrating the most important features first to maintain operations.
  1. Export Data from Keap: Export all necessary data, including contacts and custom fields.

    • Go to Contacts > People in Keap.
    • Select contacts to export or use the Select All option.
    • Click Export and download the CSV file. For large exports, provide your email to receive a download link.
  2. Export Custom Fields: Document or export all custom fields linked with contacts and companies.
  1. Import Contacts:
    • In Stack, navigate to Contacts > Import Contacts and upload the CSV file.
    • Map custom fields from Keap to Stack during the import.
  2. Recreate Custom Fields:
    • Go to Settings > Custom Fields in Stack.
    • Recreate each custom field from Keap, ensuring the field types match.
  3. Recreate Tags: Manually create any tags used in Keap for accurate contact segmentation.
