How to Set Signing Order for Recipients in Documents and Contracts

In Stack, you have the flexibility to manage how your documents are signed by enabling or disabling the signing order. This feature is perfect for those who need to ensure documents are approved in a specific sequence. Here’s how you can take control of the signing process with ease.

  • Enable/Disable Signing Order: Choose whether to enforce a signing order for recipients. This gives you the flexibility to decide how your documents are processed.
  • Drag and Drop Reordering: Easily rearrange the order of signers or recipients by dragging and dropping them into your preferred sequence.
  • Sequential Email Triggering: When the signing order is enabled, emails are sent out in the order you’ve arranged.
  • Simultaneous Email Sending: If the signing order is disabled, all recipients receive their emails at the same time.
  • Enhanced Control: Dictate the sequence in which documents are signed, ensuring a streamlined and organized process.
  • Improved Efficiency: The drag-and-drop feature simplifies the management of signers and recipients, making the process hassle-free.
  1. Navigate to the document or contract sending interface.
  2. Use the Signing Order toggle switch to enable or disable the feature according to your needs.
  1. Click and hold the name of the signer or recipient.
  2. Drag it to the desired position in the list.
  3. Release to set the new order.
  • With Signing Order Enabled: Emails are sent sequentially, following the order you’ve set for signers or recipients.
  • With Signing Order Disabled: Emails are sent to all recipients simultaneously.
