Which Pricing Plans Can Be Imported?

In Stack, you can import Recurring/Subscription plans from Stripe. Please note that One-Time prices cannot be imported and must be created directly within Stack.

To successfully import a plan or price from Stripe, ensure it is in Live mode. Plans in Test mode or with “Metered” pricing cannot be imported.

Once a Stripe plan or price is imported into Stack, it will not appear as an option for import again since it is already in the system.

Importing Prices from Stripe

When you import a price from Stripe, here’s what happens:

• The associated Stripe product is imported into Stack if it doesn’t already exist.
• A price is created under that product in Stack.
• The same product and price are also created in Stripe’s Test Mode and in PayPal if you have connected the integration.

Types of Pricing Plans in Stripe

1. Prices Created Directly in Stack

• When you create a product in Stack, a corresponding plan/price is automatically created in Stripe.
• Any edits to product pricing in Stack will sync automatically to Stripe.
• However, changes made directly in Stripe will not sync back to Stack. You will need to re-import the updated plan/price into Stack as a new product.

2. Prices Created Directly in Stripe

• If you have created plans or prices directly in Stripe, you can import them into Stack using the “Import From Stripe” button.
• To edit an imported product’s price, make the changes in Stack, and they will sync to Stripe.
• If you edit a plan/price in Stripe, those changes will not reflect in Stack. You will need to import the updated plan/price as a new product in Stack.
