How to Add Product Weights, Dimension, and SKU Information in Your Ecom Store

Enhance your product listings by adding essential details like Weight, Dimensions, and SKU (Stock Keeping Unit). These fields are crucial for future shipping integrations and inventory management. Stack provides a dedicated page for managing product variants and prices, where you can specify these details and track inventory for specific variants.

How to Add Product Details

To add weights, dimensions, and SKU information to your products, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Product Section:

   • Go to Payments in the main menu.
   • Select Products.

2. Create or Edit a Product:

   • Click Create Product to add a new item, or select an existing product to edit.

3. Add Pricing and Variants:

   • Choose Add Pricing/Variants. This will lead you to the Pricing/Variant page.

4. Enter Product Details:

   • On the Pricing/Variant page, you can enter the product’s weight, dimensions, and SKU. These details help in managing inventory and preparing for shipping integrations.

5. Track Inventory:

   • Use the same page to enable inventory tracking for each variant, ensuring you maintain accurate stock levels.

Important Notes

• When you create a new price or variant, a “New” tag will appear until you save the changes.
• Ensure you save your changes to access the full functionality of the Pricing/Variant page.
