When you want to send emails to contacts using Smart Lists and Tags in Stack, Advanced Conditions can be a powerful tool. These conditions ensure your campaigns reach the most up-to-date audience by including new contacts added after scheduling.

Important: Advanced Conditions are applicable only for Schedule, Batch, and RSS Email Campaign options.

Advanced Conditions for Smart Lists

Steps to Use Advanced Conditions with Smart Lists

1. Create a New Campaign: Start by using one of the prebuilt templates in Stack.
2. Craft Your Campaign Content: Develop the email content you want to send.
3. Send and Schedule: Click on ‘Send and Schedule’ and navigate to the recipient tab.
4. Select Smart List: Choose the Smart List option.

Advanced Conditions allow your campaign to include new contacts added to the Smart List between the scheduling and sending of the campaign.

Example:

Imagine you have a Smart List named “Marketing” with 100 contacts when you schedule your email campaign for January 30th. If 30 new contacts are added to this list before the send date, the campaign will automatically include these new contacts, totaling 130 recipients.

Steps to Use Advanced Conditions with Tags

1. Create a New Campaign: Utilize a prebuilt template to get started.
2. Develop Your Campaign Content: Prepare the message for your audience.
3. Send and Schedule: Click on ‘Send and Schedule’ and go to the recipient tab.
4. Select Tag Option: Choose the Tag option.

With Advanced Conditions, your campaign will include new contacts tagged between the time you schedule and send the campaign.

Example:

Suppose you have a Tag named “Digital” linked to 1000 contacts when you schedule your campaign for January 30th. If 40 new contacts receive the “Digital” tag before the send date, your campaign will include these additional contacts, reaching 1040 recipients.
