Shipping and Delivery rates for Ecommerce Stores
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Stack offers powerful features for e-commerce store owners to set up manual delivery charges based on various criteria, such as shipping zones, states or provinces, and product weights. This guide will help you configure and manage these shipping and delivery rates effectively.
Setting Up Shipping Zones
Section titled “Setting Up Shipping Zones”Shipping zones allow you to create specific regions with customized delivery charges. You can define delivery charges for selected states or provinces within a country.
Steps to Create a Shipping Zone
Section titled “Steps to Create a Shipping Zone”- Navigate to Account > Payments > Settings > Shipping & Delivery.
- Click on Add Zone.
- Select the desired countries to include in the zone. You can also select specific states or provinces within a country for the created zone.
- Click on Add Rate to define manual rates for the zone. Here, you can set up shipping rates and add conditional pricing.

Section titled “Setting Up Conditional Pricing on Shipping Rates”You can define delivery rates based on either the total amount in the cart or the product weights. This feature allows you to set up differential pricing for shipping and delivery charges.
Example Setup Based on Product Weight Range
Section titled “Example Setup Based on Product Weight Range”- Free Shipping: If the order weight is in the 0-10 kg range.
- Standard Shipping: Charge $10 if the order weight is below 10 kg.
Example Setup Based on Total Order Amount
Section titled “Example Setup Based on Total Order Amount”- Free Shipping: If the order amount is above $500.
- Standard Shipping: Charge $10 if the order amount is below $500.
Steps to Set Up Conditional Pricing
Section titled “Steps to Set Up Conditional Pricing”- Go to Account > Payments > Settings > Shipping & Delivery > Add Rate > Select conditional pricing.
- Choose a conditional pricing parameter: By order price or By item weight.
- Define the Minimum and Maximum (maximum is optional) for Price/Weight.
- Click on Add to apply.
- You can create differential pricing for multiple shipping zones based on states or provinces.
- Once a state or province is added in a zone, it cannot be added to another zone.
- You can create differential pricing for multiple product weights within a zone.
