Facebook Multi page Troubleshoot

When integrating Facebook with Stack, you might encounter some issues. This guide will help you troubleshoot common problems related to Facebook Lead Ads and their integration with Stack.

To set up Facebook integration with Stack, please refer to the Facebook Lead Ads integration guide.

  1. Check Access Control: Ensure you have full access to the Facebook page. You can add people to your business portfolio and assign them business assets.

  2. Verify Integration Settings: In your Stack account, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Facebook. Ensure the form selected in Ads Manager is enabled.

  3. Confirm Stack Access:

  4. Test Lead Ads: Use the Facebook Leads Ads Testing Tool to verify if leads are being added to your Stack account. Select the page and form to be tested.

  5. Assign Lead Access Permissions Manually: If Stack access is revoked:

    • Navigate to Business Suite or Business Settings.
    • Go to Integrations > Leads Access.
    • Assign Stack by selecting it from the CRM list and clicking “Assign”.

You can integrate Facebook Leads using third-party services like Zapier or Pabbly Connect. For more information, refer to their respective documentation.

If you receive an email stating “Important: Facebook connection has expired,” it means the integration has been disconnected. This could happen due to:

  • Password changes
  • Natural expiration of the Facebook token
  • De-authorization of your app
  • Logging out of Facebook
  • Changes in page permissions
  • Access from different locations without a VPN
  1. Select the account from the “Switch To An Account” dropdown.
  2. Click on Settings in the left sidebar.
  3. Navigate to Integrations.
  4. Disconnect the broken integration by clicking “Connected” under the Facebook icon. Reconnect by selecting “Connect” again.
  5. In the popup window, continue as yourself, select the Facebook page to connect, and click “Connect Page”.

To find and enable missing permissions:

  1. Go to Settings > Integration > Troubleshoot in the Facebook card.
  2. Identify missing permissions and the affected features.
  3. Enable missing permissions by visiting the permissions link.
  1. Check Instagram Connection: Ensure your Instagram account is connected to your Facebook page via Facebook Business Settings.
  2. Verify Message Access: Ensure the user is added with full control access.
  3. Enable Messaging: In Settings > Integration > Facebook, ensure Instagram and Facebook messaging are enabled.
  1. Verify User Access: Under Users > People, ensure the user has full control in business portfolio access.
  2. Check Page Access: In Accounts > Pages, confirm the user has full control access.
  3. Confirm Stack Connection: Go to Integrations > Lead Access and verify Stack is connected under CRM.
