Create a Template

We’re excited to introduce the Certificates feature in Stack, designed to help you recognize and celebrate achievements within your community. With Certificates, you can effortlessly create personalized certificates to award users, especially for course completions. Let’s walk through how to get started with creating and managing certificates.

Accessing Certificates

To begin using the Certificates feature:

1. Navigate to Memberships from the left sidebar.
2. Select Certificates.

Creating a Certificate Template

Starting a New Template

1. Click on New.
2. Choose between Certificate Templates or Blank Certificates to start your design.

Using an Existing Template

1. Select a template from the available options.
2. Click Confirm to use the selected template.

Creating from Scratch

1. Click on Blank Certificates.
2. Begin designing your certificate from scratch.

Editing Certificate Templates

Enhance your certificate templates using various elements:

Layout

• Click on Layout to choose between Portrait or Landscape.
• Select frames for your chosen layout.
• To remove a frame, click the frame again in the right bar.

Note: Changing the layout will disrupt any existing edits.

Background

• Click on Background to choose colors or upload an image.
• Adjust the opacity using the slider.
• For patterns, click on Patterns and select a pattern and its color.

Header

• Drag and drop the Header element onto your template.
• Edit text, clone, or delete elements using the icons.
• Customize font styles, sizes, types, and colors from the top bar.
• Resize by adjusting the blue dots on the text box.

Text

• Drag and drop the Text element to your template.
• Edit text, clone, or delete elements using the icons.
• Customize font styles, sizes, types, and colors from the top bar.
• Resize by adjusting the blue dots on the text box.

Image

• Drag and drop the Image element onto your template.
• Upload an image or use an image link.
• Adjust opacity with the slider.
• Resize by adjusting the blue dots on the box.

Badge

• Drag and drop the Badge element onto your template.
• Choose a badge from the options.
• Resize by adjusting the blue dots on the box.

Signatures

• Drag and drop the Signature element onto your template.
• Select a signature style.
• Resize by adjusting the blue dots on the box.

Preview and Save a Template

• To preview your template, click on Preview.
• To save, click on Save and enter a relevant name for your certificate at the top.
• Once saved, click Back to view your saved templates under the Template tab.
• Use the three dots menu to Preview, Edit, or Delete a template.

With these steps, you can create and manage certificates in Stack, making it easy to celebrate achievements within your community.
