Why can't I see my X (formerly Twitter) account when connecting or scheduling posts?

As of December 4, 2024, Stack’s integration with X (formerly known as Twitter) has been disabled. This means you can no longer create, schedule, or post directly to X using the Social Planner.

What Does This Mean for You?

• X Integration Disabled: You will not be able to connect your X account in the Connections tab or post to X via the Social Planner.
• Other Integrations Unaffected: All other social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, and TikTok continue to be fully supported and operational.

Why Is This Happening?

Recent changes in X’s integration requirements introduced a significant monthly fee, which would have led to increased costs for our users. Despite our efforts to negotiate a more favorable agreement, we couldn’t reach a solution that avoided this cost increase.

While we’re disappointed to remove X integration, we’re committed to enhancing the Social Planner and supporting all other integrations effectively. We recognize the importance of X in the social media landscape and will keep an eye on any changes in their API requirements. Our goal is to potentially re-integrate X in the future.
