How to Add Reviews & Ratings for Products for E-commerce stores?
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Enhance your store’s credibility and boost customer engagement with Stack’s Reviews and Ratings feature. This tool allows customers to share their experiences by submitting reviews and rating products. Once approved, these reviews can be displayed on both the product list and product details pages, offering valuable insights to potential buyers and increasing trust in your products.
How to Use Reviews and Ratings
Section titled “How to Use Reviews and Ratings”Enabling Reviews and Ratings
Section titled “Enabling Reviews and Ratings”To showcase customer feedback, you can enable the Product Reviews and Ratings on both the product details and product list pages. Simply toggle the Show Reviews and Ratings option in the builder preview. You can also choose to display the ratings count by enabling the Show Ratings Count toggle.
Submitting Reviews and Ratings as a Customer
Section titled “Submitting Reviews and Ratings as a Customer”Customers can easily find the Reviews and Ratings section at the bottom of any product’s details page. By clicking the Write a Review button, they can fill out a form with the following required fields:
- Name
Optional fields include:
- Contact Number
- Headline
- Description
After submission, the review will be published once approved by the store owner. Customers will receive a confirmation message upon successful submission.
Publishing and Moderating Reviews and Ratings
Section titled “Publishing and Moderating Reviews and Ratings”To manage reviews, navigate to:
Payments > Products dropdown > Reviews
Here, you’ll find submitted reviews in the Pending section. You can:
- Approve
- Unapprove
- Move to Trash
Approved reviews are automatically published on your store. You can reply to individual reviews through the side menu by selecting the review.
For easier management, reviews can be filtered by:
- Time Frame
- Ratings
- Product Name
- Store Name
Customization Options
Section titled “Customization Options”- Star Colors and Fonts: Customize these directly in the builder preview.
- Font Style: The font size is fixed to maintain content hierarchy, but the font family will match the content fonts used on the page. Font color will be consistent across all reviews and ratings.
Additional Notes
Section titled “Additional Notes”- Reviews can only be permanently deleted from the Trash section.
- Utilize the builder preview to see how reviews will appear on your product pages.
By leveraging the Reviews and Ratings feature, you can build a more engaging and trustworthy shopping experience for your customers.
