Set frequency for certificate expiry reminders (emails)

Stay on top of your certificate expirations by setting personalized reminder intervals. With Stack, you can decide exactly when you’d like to receive these important notifications, moving beyond the default 2 and 7-day reminders.

How to Set Custom Expiry Reminder Intervals

Access Your Account Settings

1. Log In: Start by logging into your Stack account.
2. Navigate to Certificates: Go to the Certificates section within your membership settings.

Edit Reminder Preferences for Certificate Templates

• Locate the Certificate Template: Find the template for which you want to adjust expiry reminders.
• Set Expiry Date: Click on the three dots menu (...) next to the template and select Set Expiry. Choose a date that suits your needs.

Customize Reminder Emails

• Select Reminder Frequency: Decide if you want one or two reminder emails and toggle them on or off as needed.
• Add Reminder Days: Enter the number of days before the expiry date for each reminder email. These emails will be sent based on the days you specify.

Individual Certificate Customization

For more granular control, you can also customize reminders for each certificate under the Issued Certificates tab. This allows for individual-level adjustments.

Important Note

If you choose “Immediately” for your reminders, only the expiry notification will be sent on the expiration day. Remember, any reminders not manually adjusted will default to the standard 2 and 7-day intervals.
