How to Use Tap to Pay

1. Open the Point of Sale section in the Stack Mobile App.

2. Enter the transaction amount and add sale details by clicking on +Note.

   Note: Ensure your Stripe account is integrated on the web app before using Tap to Pay on the mobile app. If you see “Stripe not connected,” integrate it via Payments > Integrations > Connect with Stripe. Ensure your location is set correctly, as this feature is currently available only in the US.

3. Once configured, input the amount and note, then click Charge (Amount).

4. Wait for the connection to the reader.

5. Optionally, add a tip by selecting “Custom” or proceed with “No tip.”

6. Ask your customer to tap their contactless payment method (e.g., Credit card, Apple Pay) on the app.

7. Upon successful payment, you’ll see “Approved, Payment Successful” along with your business name and a transaction ID.

Supported Devices

• Android Devices: All NFC-capable devices running Android 8 OS or later.

• iPhone Users: iPhone XS or later with iOS 16 or newer (US only).

  Note: Tap to Pay is not supported on Beta iOS releases. Update to the latest OS for optimal performance.
