How to Generate and Use Magic Links

Magic Links allow you to access your client portal apps like Courses, Communities, and Affiliates without needing to sign in separately. Here’s how you can generate and use them:

1. Navigate to the Client Portal Dashboard:

   • Open your Stack platform and go to the client portal dashboard.

2. Access the Actions Menu:

   • Click on the “Actions” menu located within the dashboard.

3. Generate a Magic Link:

   • Select the “Generate Magic Link” option from the menu.

4. Choose the Relevant App:

   • Pick the specific Contact or Client Portal child app (such as Courses, Communities, or Affiliates) for which you wish to create a magic link.

5. Create the Link:

   • Click on the “Generate” button to produce the magic link for your chosen app or contact.

6. Use the Magic Link:

   • Once your link is generated, you can use it to directly access the selected app without needing to sign in again.

How to Use Magic Links as Custom Menu Links

You can also embed Magic Links as custom menu items within your client portal for even easier access:
