Connect Instagram Business or Creator to Facebook (allows posting to IG)

To post directly to your Instagram Business Profile using Stack, you need to connect it to a Facebook Page. This connection allows Stack to manage your Instagram profile through Facebook, which is a requirement set by Facebook (Instagram’s parent company).

Before You Begin

Verify Your Instagram Profile Type
- Ensure your Instagram profile is set as a Business or Creator profile. If it’s not, you can follow the steps to convert your Instagram Personal profile to a Business or Creator profile.
Check Your Facebook Page Role
- Confirm that you have the necessary permissions on the Facebook Page you want to connect. You need to have an Admin or Editor role for Classic Pages, or full or partial control for New Page types. For more details, see Facebook’s help article on Page roles.

Connecting Instagram to Facebook

Follow these steps to link your Instagram Business Profile with your Facebook account:

Open a new browser tab and log in to your Facebook account.
From the home page, click on Pages located at the top left of the screen.
Select the Facebook Page you wish to connect to your Instagram Business Profile.
Once the Page is open, navigate to Settings on the left side of the screen. This option is at the bottom of the Manage Page menu.
In the Page settings menu, select Instagram.
Click on Connect Instagram Business Account.
Enter your Instagram account credentials (username and password) and click Login.

Your Instagram Business Profile is now linked to your Facebook account.
